All of my artwork draws from a wellspring of eclectic influences. It is always
subjective, often political, usually introspective, occasionally nostalgic,
and sometimes ironic or contradictory. I often see it as an alchemical formula
that seeks to transform whatever is base, i.e. broken or discarded refuse,
violent or absurd news items, or painful memories into something beautiful
and transcendent. Sometimes it is a tongue-in-cheek voodoo incantation that
I secretly hope will affect my destiny. Other times, it is a visual diary and
simply documents whatever I am thinking about or feeling during the time it
comes to be. It is always inspired by Nature and traditional aesthetic ideals
of Truth and Beauty.
